New Delhi: The total value of ₹2000 banknotes in circulation, which was ₹3.56 lakh crore at the close of business on May 19, 2023, when the withdrawal of ₹2000 banknotes was announced, has declined to ₹6,471 crore at the close of business on February 28, 2025. Thus, 98.18% of the ₹2000 banknotes in circulation as on May 19, 2023, has since been returned. The ₹2000 banknotes continue to be legal tender. Real GDP has been estimated to grow by 6.5% in FY 2024-25. New Delhi: India’s real gross domestic product (GDP) growth for the third quarter (Q3) of financial year 2024-25 (FY25) was 6.2%. The National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), released these Statistics on Friday. Real GDP has been estimated to grow by 6.5% in FY 2024-25.
